Guided tour: The Willemoesgade block

Thursday, 8 October, Associate Partner Thomas Bang Madsen guides us through the transformation of a former industrial area into a mixed neighbourhood of homes and workplaces. The Willemoesgade project combines restoration, conservation, reuse, and new additions – from the listed Otto Mønsteds Villa and former factory buildings to new rooftop homes, townhouses and flats.

Open Call: How to influence the climate requirements in the Building Legislation

Thursday, 8 October, Partner Mikkel Schlesinger calls on the Danish construction industry to put the latest findings from Reduction Roadmap 3.0 into action. Together with the team behind the roadmap, he will share concrete ways for industry professionals, companies, and organisations to bring the research into the debate and engage with the upcoming political negotiations on the climate threshold. The event is organised by the Reduction Roadmap collaboration between CEBRA, EFFEKT and Artelia.

Guided tour: The Trælasten block

Friday, 9 October, Associate Partner Rasmus Kruse Jensen leads a tour through the newly established mixed-use district of Trælasten co-hosted by PensionDanmark and Nordstern. CEBRA designed Bjælkehuset, Byhuset and the landscape across the district as well as we contributed to its masterplan and district plans. The area incorporates materials reused from the former lumber yard.

Exhibition: Architectural Models of Aarhus in Transformation

Throughout the week, you can explore models of iconic Aarhus architecture through the years. See the model of The Iceberg, the first building of the Aarhus Dockland development, as well as a wooden version of the Grundfos Halls of Residence.
